Sailor Moon's author & my comics final is kicking my ass please pray for me I need encouragement: What Belle is learning this week in comics school.

No extensive blog post here, I just wanted to briefly share all the shit I've drawn and worked on this week as a brief aside. This week is my integration final for Q1 - where I take everything I've learned so far and incorporate it into pages of my assignment! Then I'll have more thoughtful follow-ups later.

The final procrastination is hitting me like a fucking bitch and it doesn't help that I'm a little sick.

These are some really cute warmups I did to get through to actually getting to my pages.

I'm been forcing myself to get it together. Unfortunately I've been having some mental health stuff issues last week but my problems don't wait for anyone. At the end of the day, it's CRUNCH TIME. LIKE A REAL MANGAKA! LIKE TAKEUCHI-SENSEI HERSELF.

I don't know if it's fucked up or completely appropriate that my all-time hero is also an overworking neurotic woman who leaves all her shit to the last minute and keeps picking up random projects. But hey, I got my new cover up on Blampow (did I technically need a new cover? No. But- and hear me out here - It made me feel bad to see everyone else's)

So idk go look at it.

So how are the actual pages going?

Well, I have like... 3 out of 10 drawn done (the assignment calls for only 4-6 mind you, but I realize like in order to catch up there's a couple that need to be done in between and like I CAN push myself I just am STUPID.)

Tbh rn this is the panel I'm most proud of mostly because I actually had built this castle months ago in Tiny Glade and like specifically bought that game and Make Room with the explicit purpose of building environments for later AND ACTUALLY DID IT.

I used this picture and then extracted the lines and then colored them in and drew on top. Using some models to plan out the crowds and like overall I think it went REALLY WELL CONSIDERING that I didn't know how to draw crowds!

But yeah idfk guys I'll see you next week. Pray for me!
